Implementing CRM Role Concept for External Services
Debug ABAP programs with Replace
If you want to export the movement data of the productive system to a development system, you should first export user master records and the permission proposal values and archive the complete change documents. After importing, you can then delete the imported change documents, in analogy to the client copy, and then reload and index the original change documents of the development system. The activities described here require administrative permissions for the change documents (S_SCD0 and S_ARCHIVE) and, if applicable, for the table logs (S_TABU_DIS or S_TABU_NAM and S_ARCHIVE). These permissions should be considered critical, and you should assign them to a small circle.

At www.sap-corner.de you will also find a lot of useful information on the subject of SAP authorizations.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? That's what Scribble Papers is great for.

A manual comparison of role texts in an SAP system landscape with ZBV is very annoying. You can also automate the sync. I'm sure you know this. When creating or maintaining users in the Central User Administration (ZBV), you must manually start the text matching each time before assigning PFCG roles to provide you with the latest PFCG role definitions. Managing a large system landscape with many systems in your ZBV - including development, test and production systems - the text comparison can take a while.
Grant permission for external services from SAP CRM
When pasting permission field values from the Clipboard, the values are added to the existing entries. You must also separate the value intervals when inserting with the help of the tab stop. If permissions for the individual values do not exist for maintenance, they are rejected, i.e. not taken over. The Insert function from the Clipboard is also available in the dialogue box for maintaining the organisation levels. The Copy to Clipboard and Paste from Clipboard functions are not available if you maintain field values that allow only the selection of fixed values. For example, this is the case in the Activity field.

You must set up a message class for later use. To do this, you will be prompted automatically when the transaction GGB0 is first called. If some relevant fields of the complete document are hidden, i.e. not available, please refer to the instructions in the SAPHinweis 413956. Set up validation in the GGB0 transaction (such as GALILEO) and determine the steps of validation. In the validation process, copy the RGGBR000 programme into your Customer Name Room, replacing the last three characters with the number of the client in which the validation will be performed. Then assign your new customer-owned programme with the GCX2 transaction to the GBLR user exit control workspace. This assignment has created the prerequisite for client-dependent user exits. If you want to set up a client-independent user exit, do the same, but use the transaction GCX1.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

In such a case the last error is displayed in SU53 or the display is empty.

To do this, use Project Explorer to select the role you want to enable and select Team > Activate from the shortcut menu.
