I recommend that you schedule the background job PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY with the report RHAUTUPD_NEW. Scheduling the RHAUTUPD_NEW report with two variants has proven to be a best practice: Once a day before users log on for the first time (e.g. midnight or very early in the morning). This way the users are synchronized once a day. Once a month (or even once a week) with the option "Perform cleanup", so that obsolete profiles and user mappings are regularly cleaned up. Also handy: If the naming conventions of your roles allow it, you can also align the report according to different time zones. For example, I have a customer who runs the user synchronization for his users in the USA and Asia at different times, so that the daily business of the respective users is not disturbed.

In order to meet the growing integration and coordination between internal IT departments and external service providers and suppliers, it is necessary to include a company-wide interface department in the IT organisation. The SAP basis can assume the coordination role and interface function in the environment of SAP products and technologies.

If the additional memory in the Advanced Storage Area is still not sufficient for the user context, the optional second role area can be used. The size of the second roll range is determined by the difference between the parameters ztta/roll_first and ztta/roll_area. Rolling range has been eliminated in kernel release 7.4, so these parameters are obsolete from then on. Instead, the user context is now stored directly in the Advanced Memory.

A note box in which data of all kinds can be quickly filed and retrieved. This is what Scribble Papers promises. At first, the program looks very spartan. But once a small structure is in place, you realise the great flexibility of this little helper.

SAP recommends a role design for Fiori permissions based on the defined catalogues and groups in the launchpad. In such a catalogue there is usually a set of apps and services which is relevant for a specific user group. If a role for one or more catalogues in the launchpad has been authorised, the corresponding catalogues and groups will be displayed in the app finder only for eligible users when the launchpad is launched. This ensures that every user only sees what they are working with. Important: These Fiori permissions are maintained on the frontend server! Maintain catalogue permissions in the PFCG To add a Fiori permission to open a catalogue for a role, reopen this role in the PFCG in Change mode and follow the next steps: 1) Select Menu tab 2) Click on the small arrow to add an item 3) Select "SAP Fiori Tile Catalogue" Then select the corresponding Catalogue ID for which the selected role should be eligible. Now the role only has to be assigned to the corresponding users in the system. Once you have completed these steps, you will have the Fiori permissions you need to view individual tile catalogues on the launchpad.
