COMPLETE VIEW IN THE CONVERSION OF ROLES
The SAP Basis is responsible for the smooth operation of the programmes in the SAP system. It acts as an operating system for R/3 and subsequent releases including S/4HANA. Each operating system provides an environment in which programmes can run, such as MS Office on Microsoft Windows. Likewise, the SAP base system with the NetWeaver and HANA platform offers an environment in which the SAP programmes can run. In this context, the NetWeaver platform itself relies on server operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

Will Blockchain's Economy and Administration Revolutionise? What is a blockchain? A blockchain is a complete and unchanging transaction history of all transactions of a decentralised community that everyone who is part of it agrees to. The word blockchain first fell in connection with Bitcoin as a decentralised network for payments in the digital currency of the same name. The blockchain describes an underlying technology in which all transactions are publicly and unchangeably recorded. This transaction history is updated periodically. Each participant in the decentralised community accepts it as a reality, stores it on their computer, and can thus ensure at any time that no one can duplicate expenditure, as this would lead to a conflict in the transaction history elsewhere. A peculiarity of blockchain technology is that it has solved the "Double Spending Problem". Double-spending means something that can be doubled, and by 2008, only one central institution was considered to be sustainable. Double Spending can best be understood using the example of an image on a mobile phone. When I upload it to Facebook, I made a copy of it and I can upload it to Instagram, for example. So I used my picture "double". This effect made it impossible to establish a trustworthy, decentralised digital currency by 2008.

For these cases, you should take a closer look at the DBACOCKPIT transaction. This transaction provides you with many other database management features, an editor that allows you to easily execute your SQL queries against your SAP system. This method displays the result in the GUI shortly after the query is sent. How to execute a SQL query To call the editor for SQL queries in DBACOCKPIT, the user must: The user needs corresponding rights to execute the transactions SM49 and SM69. STOR and SMSS must be cultivated in the S_ADMI_FCD permission object. SQL queries must maintain the database connection. To get the current status of a database connection, see the DBCONT table. Rights for calling the table(s) to be retrieved must be assigned. For more details, see the section "Further information on DBACOCKPIT" in this blog post.

Companies face a major challenge. The world is not going digital, but it is already. The age of digitisation and the related technological changes, as well as the demands of customers, bring new opportunities and new challenges for companies. In addition, the product strategy is changing, including that of SAP. In order to achieve the associated goals of the company and to implement them as effectively and efficiently as possible, the SAP basis must contribute to the design of an IT roadmap and to the design of the digitisation and also cloud strategy. A detailed review of the IT Roadmap recommendation is carried out within the master thesis in chapter 7.9.
